Unity Bank, of Clinton, New Jersey, makes much bigger home loans than other banks of its size, and its lending grew by a quarter in 2025.
Its typical loan was $435,000, against $175,000 at similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans), higher than nearly all of them. Jumbo loans, larger than the conforming limit, were 9.2% of its lending, against 1.5% at the typical peer and 3.9% five years before. Purchases made up 76.3% of its loans.

It lends in 10 states but mostly in New Jersey. It ranks 94 of 365 lenders in Trenton-Princeton, where its share rose from 0.1% to 0.2%, and 103 of 521 in Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton.
