Purchases make up nearly all its business. Only 67.9% of its loans were conventional, against 77.1% at similar lenders (independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans). Loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) took 18.5%. Its typical loan, $335,000, was close to theirs at $315,000.
