A much smaller lender than in 2020
It made 4,000 loans in 2020, 3,313 in 2021, 2,066 in 2022, 1,190 in 2023, 602 in 2024 and 524 in 2025. Originations fell 13% in 2025, while the typical similar lender (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans) grew 9%. Its dollar volume was $148.1 million, against $1.19 billion five years earlier. One possible reason is a narrower product range: five years earlier it also made government-insured and government-guaranteed loans, and now makes only conventional ones.
