Lending in poorer neighborhoods
Neighborhoods of low- and moderate-income (LMI) households received 28.6% of its loans, against 17.6% at similar lenders, credit unions making between half and twice as many loans. That is more than at about four in five of them. Majority-minority neighborhoods received 34.3%, against 9.2%. With 35 loans, a few loans move these shares, so they are a rough guide.
