Five years of decline
Its loans have fallen every year since 2020: from 271 to 163, then 93, 46, 41 and now 29. The 29% drop in 2025 came as similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans) held steady and the whole market grew 10%. Only about one in six similar lenders shrank faster. Nothing in its reports says why; at this size a handful of loans either way moves the yearly change a lot.
