Sturdy Savings Bank, a New Jersey savings bank, gained ground in Atlantic City-Hammonton in 2025, where it now ranks 17 of 423 lenders.
Its share of the Atlantic City-Hammonton market rose from 1.2% to 1.7%, behind leaders such as Citizens Bank and TD Bank. It has lent there since 1992. Its other markets, New York-Newark-Jersey City and Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, are small corners of its business.
