Few loans of its own
It made 18 home loans in 2025, down from 56 in 2024 and 469 in 2020. Its loans fell 68%, against a fall of 16% at similar banks (state member banks making between half and twice as many loans). It may now get more of its mortgages by buying them than by making them. With so few loans, its shares of borrowers, neighborhoods and loan sizes say little.
