PRC Mortgage, a Woodstock, Georgia, mortgage company that first reported in 2025, made 148 loans, nearly all for home purchases and an unusual share of them government-backed.
Its first HMDA report, for 2025, shows 148 loans, close to the 160 made by the typical similar lender (non-bank or government lenders making between half and twice as many loans). Purchases made up 99.3% of them. Its lending reached seven Georgia counties; in Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Alpharetta it ranks 187 of 892 lenders.
A quarter of its loans (25.7%) were insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and 8.8% were guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The typical similar lender made neither kind; only about one in twenty had a higher FHA share.
Almost half its loans (44.6%) went to homes in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, against 23.7% at similar lenders, more than at four in five of them. Its share of borrowers with low or moderate incomes, 21.6%, was close to peers' 20.7%.
Its typical rate was 6.62%, against 6.66% at similar lenders. Only 1.8% of its loans were higher-priced (a rate well above the average for similar loans), near the middle of the group. Its typical loan, $355,000, was a little smaller than peers' $375,000.
