A long decline
The credit union made 201 loans in 2021, 124 in 2022 and 50 in 2023. In 2025 its loans fell 9% while the whole market grew 10%. One possible reason is higher rates: its typical rate was 3.00% in 2020 and 6.50% in 2025. It has lent in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area since 1990, but with 32 loans its share there rounds to nothing.
