Millenium Home Mortgage is a New Jersey purchase lender making larger, conventional loans, and it is gaining ground in Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton.
Purchases made up 77.6% of its 303 loans in 2025. Its typical loan was $415,000, against $325,000 at similar lenders, independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans. Conventional loans were 88.1% of its book, against 76.3% among its peers, and none of its loans was higher-priced, meaning at a rate well above the average for similar loans.
Its share of the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton market rose from 0.1% to 0.3%, lifting it to 78 of 521 lenders; CrossCountry Mortgage led there. In 2025 it made its first loans in Jacksonville, Florida, and in Greenville-Anderson-Greer, South Carolina, though its lending stays centered on New Jersey.
Low- and moderate-income (LMI) borrowers took 17.3% of its loans, against 21.6% at similar lenders, and its share in LMI neighborhoods was also lower. Its bigger loans and its focus on conventional lending may point to better-off buyers; its LMI borrower share did rise from 11.6% the year before. Its purchase applications were turned down less often than its peers', 2.4% against 3.2%.
It made 1,261 loans in 2020 and 967 in 2021, then fell to 263 in 2023. It has grown each year since, by 6% in 2025, a little ahead of the 3% of similar lenders but behind the market's 10%.
