Its loans fell 58%, from 3,486 to 1,473, while the whole market grew 10%. That was a steeper fall than at almost every similar lender (an independent non-bank lender making between half and twice as many loans). Its count has fallen each year since its peak of 10,588 in 2020. It may have chosen to pull back, as the smaller shares in its distant markets could suggest, or lost business to rivals; the figures do not say which.
