Our analysis, 2025
Lendsure Mortgage, a conventional-only lender with borrowers in all 50 states, grew its lending by 43% in 2025, faster than about two-thirds of similar lenders and four times the whole market.
Its loans rose from 2,464 to 3,529 last year. Similar lenders (non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans) typically grew 30%, and the whole market 10%. Its lending has roughly tripled since 2020, when it made 1,153 loans.
Every loan it made was conventional. Its typical loan was $355,000, against $260,000 at similar lenders, and 11.2% of its loans were jumbo, larger than the conforming limit, against 5.1% at its peers. Home purchases made up 70.0% of its lending and refinances 29.8%.
It lent in 296 metros and 736 counties, with Florida its main state, yet holds a small share almost everywhere. In San Diego-Chula Vista-Carlsbad, CA, it ranks 83 of 639 lenders by dollars lent, with 0.3%, up from 0.2%.
Low- and moderate-income neighborhoods took 20.6% of its loans, against 37.1% at similar lenders, and majority-minority neighborhoods 28.3%, against 47.5%. Its larger loans may account for some of this, since they suit costlier homes, though the data cannot show how much. Its typical rate, 7.50%, was a little below its peers'.
