More bought than made
In 2025 the bank bought 77 loans from other lenders, more than twice the 35 it originated itself. The typical similar lender, a state member bank making between half and twice as many loans, bought none; John Marshall Bank bought more than almost all of them. Its purchases rose from 23 the year before.
