Hometown Funding is the fourth-largest home lender in Rochester, New York, making plain conventional loans, and in 2025 it made almost exactly as many as in 2024.
It ranked 4 of 251 lenders in Rochester, its home market since 1995, with 5.1% of the market, down from 5.8%. Premium Mortgage and ESL Federal Credit Union led. It made 1,096 loans against 1,091 in 2024, so the slip may reflect rivals growing faster rather than a retreat.
