Farm Credit Mid-America is a countryside purchase lender spread across 878 counties in 25 states, and ranks 10 of 746 lenders in non-metro Tennessee.
Most of its largest markets are rural. It ranks 10 of 746 lenders in non-metro Tennessee, 14 of 592 in non-metro Ohio and 14 of 537 in non-metro Kentucky. In Nashville, its biggest metro, it holds 0.5% of lending, unchanged on the year. In 2025 it made its first loans in Enid, Oklahoma, and Grand Forks.
Every loan was conventional; similar lenders, independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans, put 23.8% into loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration.
