All 72 of its loans were insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA). Refinances were 66.7% of its lending and other purposes 30.6%; purchases were just 2.8%. Similar lenders, meaning non-banks making between half and twice as many loans, are different: 84.7% of their loans were conventional. Their prices and approval rates are not a fair yardstick for it.
