A rebound from a low base
The credit union made 42 loans in 2025, up from 26. Similar lenders, credit unions making between half and twice as many loans, grew by 3%, and the whole market by 10%. The base is small, and the longer record runs the other way: it made 131 loans in 2020 and only 13 in 2022. The figures do not say why lending fell so far.
