A home-improvement lender
Home improvement made up 70.2% of its 94 loans in 2025; purchases were only 3.2%. Its typical loan was $205,000, against $95,000 at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans), larger than about nine in ten of them. Every loan was conventional, with no government backing.
