Eagle Bank makes big loans: its typical loan in 2025 was $655,000, and a quarter were jumbo loans (larger than the conforming limit).
Its typical loan was higher than at more than nine in ten similar lenders (savings institutions making between half and twice as many loans), whose typical loan was $245,000. Jumbo loans took 25.0% of its lending, against 2.0% at peers. It lent $59.8 million in all, against $22.6 million at the typical peer.
Its loans fell 19%, from 70 to 57, while peers' rose 1% and the whole market 10%. It made 160 loans in 2021 and 128 in 2020. Purchases made up 59.6% of its loans and refinances 29.8%.

In Boston-Cambridge-Newton, where it has lent since 1992, it ranked 152 of 664 lenders. Citizens Bank led, followed by Leader Bank. Its share in Worcester rose to 0.1%, and it has lent in Cape Coral-Fort Myers since 2024.
