Cowboy Bank, renamed from The Bank of Kremlin in 2024, is a small Oklahoma bank that ranks 8 of 114 lenders in Enid.
In Enid, where it has lent since at least 1990, it ranks behind Gateway First Bank, Financial Concepts Mortgage and Great Plains National Bank, among others. Its share fell from 5.4% to 3.7%, which may follow from its own lower volume. In 2025 it made its first loans in Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers.
It made 54 loans, 14% fewer than the 63 of 2024, while similar lenders (banks of the same type making between half and twice as many loans) grew 8%. For a bank this size, a few borrowers or a quieter local market can make that difference. It filed no report for 2020 to 2022, gaps in the record rather than years without lending, and returned in 2023 with 45 loans.
