Repairs, not purchases
Home improvement made up 69.8% of its loans and refinancing the rest; it made no purchase loans. Its typical loan was $55,000, against $95,000 at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans), among the lowest twentieth. So on a similar number of loans, it lent less than half as much: $4.1 million against $8.9 million.
