A long retreat
Its loan count fell 21% in 2025, while similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 6% and the whole market 10%. That put its change among the lowest tenth of its peers. The steepest drop came earlier, from 3,804 loans in 2022 to 874 in 2023. A move away from purchase lending, now 7.3% of its loans, could explain much of it, as could a change in which loans it reports; the public figures do not say which.
