Atlanta Postal Credit Union, a Georgia credit union, mostly refinances homes, lends in 27 states, and has more than doubled its lending since a low in 2023.
Refinances made up 79.8% of its loans and purchases 19.5%. Georgia is its main state, but it lent in 68 metros. Its typical loan, $105,000, was the same as at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans).

In Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Alpharetta, its biggest market, where it has lent since 1991, it ranks 203 of 892 lenders. In Columbus, AL-GA it ranks 102 of 318, with 0.1% of lending. In 2025 it made its first loans in Colorado Springs, Eau Claire and Kingston.
