Arsenal Credit Union has lent more every year since 2020, reaching 240 loans in 2025, most of them refinances.
Originations rose 54% to 240, while similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 5% and the whole market 10%. That was faster than at nearly nine in ten of them. It made 46 loans in 2020 and more in every year since.

Its share in St. Louis rose 0.1 points to 0.3%, ranking it 78 of 637 lenders in a market it has served since at least 1990. Low- and moderate-income (LMI) borrowers took 21.1% of its loans, against 27.9% at peers. A book weighted toward refinancing existing owners is one possible reason.
