Our analysis, 2025
ARRHA Credit Union, a small Springfield, Massachusetts credit union, more than doubled its lending in 2025 and gained ground in its home market.
It made 126 loans, up 110% from 60 in 2024. Similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) grew 8%, and the whole market 10%. The 2024 total was its lowest since 2018, and 2025 remains below the 215 loans of 2021.
In Springfield, its largest market, its share rose 0.4 points to 0.7%, ranking it 36 of 322 lenders. Westfield Bank leads there. Its share in Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford rose 0.1 points.
