First Community Credit Union is a North Dakota credit union that lends mostly for home purchases, with more government-backed loans and far more lending to low- and moderate-income (LMI) borrowers than similar credit unions, and it grew 26% in 2025.
Originations rose 26%, against 6% at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) and 10% for the whole market. In Fargo it ranked 6 of 207 with 3.6%, up from 2.3%; in Bismarck 7 of 145 with 4.3%, up from 1.8%.
