A shift toward LMI and majority-minority areas
LMI borrowers took 43.2% of its loans, against 17.3% five years before and 26.9% at similar lenders (state member banks making between half and twice as many loans), higher than more than nine in ten of them. Loans in LMI tracts rose from 5.3% to 28.0%, and in majority-minority tracts from 2.6% to 26.7%, against 6.8% at similar lenders. One possible reason is its 2023 merger with Huntingdon Valley Bank, whose filings count as this lender's in the competition figures.
