Credit Union of Southern California is a Southern California credit union making larger loans than most similar lenders, with about one in five of them jumbo.
Its typical loan was $175,000, against $105,000 at similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans), larger than most of them. Originations rose 13% to 913, while similar lenders rose 8% and the whole market 10%. It merged with LA Financial Federal Credit Union in 2025, which may account for part of the rise. It ranked 111 of 757 lenders in Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim and 114 of 707 in Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario.
