Lending fell while peers grew
Originations fell 7% to 1,363, while similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans) grew 11% and the whole market 10%; its change was lower than at nearly nine in ten peers. Dollar volume fell from $592.1 million to $510.8 million, and its jumbo share (loans larger than the conforming limit) from 7.0% to 4.8%. Less demand for its larger loans and more competition are possible reasons.
