First Reliance Bank is a South Carolina home-purchase lender that grew in line with similar banks in 2025 and gained share in Florence and Columbia, two of its oldest markets.
In Florence, SC it ranked 5 of 256 lenders, with its share up from 4.1% to 5.0%; in Columbia, SC it ranked 14 of 515, up from 1.2% to 1.4%. Both are markets it entered in 2001. In Greenville-Anderson-Greer, SC its share fell from 1.3% to 0.9%, which may reflect stronger competition there or a shift of its own lending toward its other markets.
