Mission Federal Credit Union is a San Diego credit union whose lending is mostly home-improvement loans, 53.5% of the total, and whose share of the San Diego market rose to 2.5%, ranking 7 of 639.
Home-improvement loans made up 53.5% of its lending, home purchases 23.4% and refinances 13.7%. It lent in one state and five counties. Its share of San Diego-Chula Vista-Carlsbad rose to 2.5% from 1.8%, with United Wholesale Mortgage and Rocket Mortgage the two largest lenders there.

It turned down 1.5% of decided first-lien home-purchase applications on owner-occupied homes, against 6.3% at similar lenders, and 11.2% of refinance applications, against 20.1%. Its typical rate, 6.99%, was near the middle.
