Fewer loans, more dollars
Among similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans), its 12% fall left its growth lower than more than nine in ten; the typical peer rose 9% and the whole market 10%. The amount it lent rose from $740.7 million to $796.8 million, and its typical loan from $125,000 to $195,000, so one possibility is a shift towards larger loans.
