More lending in LMI and majority-minority areas than most peers
Among similar lenders (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans), 18.6% of loans were in LMI (low- and moderate-income) areas; First Peoples Bank's figure was 25.0%, higher than about two-thirds of them. Its 21.2% in majority-minority areas, against 6.9%, was higher than nearly three-quarters. Lending centred on Columbus, its largest market, may explain this.
