The Bank of Missouri grew in step with similar lenders in 2025 and ranks 4 of 157 in Cape Girardeau, but its shares in Columbia and Springfield slipped.
Its Cape Girardeau share rose to 6.3% from 5.7%. In Columbia, where it ranks 10 of 268, its share fell to 2.2% from 2.6%, and in Springfield to 1.3% from 1.5%, markets led by Flat Branch Mortgage and The Central Trust Bank. Stronger competition or a shift of effort could explain this.
Originations rose 10% to 833, matching the typical similar lender (a bank of the same type making between half and twice as many loans) and the whole market. That is well below the 1,213 of 2021 but above the 509 of 2018.
