Lending where incomes are lower
Low- and moderate-income neighborhoods took 42.1% of its loans in 2025, against 18.6% at similar banks (banks of the same type making between half and twice as many loans), more than at nine in ten. Majority-minority neighborhoods took 36.8%, against 6.5%. Half its borrowers had low or moderate incomes, against 27.1%. All three shares rose sharply from 2024, and on 57 loans a few loans can swing them, so one year is not yet a pattern.
