Panhandle Federal Credit Union is a small Kansas credit union whose home lending has shrunk to 17 loans a year, split between purchases and refinances.
It lends in one state and three counties, in the Wichita metro and rural Kansas. In Wichita it ranks 193 of 367 lenders, and its share slipped from 0.1% to almost nothing. Peoples Bank and Trust Company leads that market. With so few loans, one or two either way move its share.
