Nearly half to modest incomes
In 2025, 46.8% of its loans went to low- and moderate-income borrowers, against 28.2% at similar lenders, state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans. Nearly all of them came in lower. The share was 42.3% in 2020, so this is long-standing. Small loans fit the pattern: the typical one was $125,000, against $185,000.
