The Hometown Savings Bank, known until 2022 as Terre Haute Savings Bank, ranks ninth of 220 lenders in its home market, though its share there slipped in 2025 as it lent farther afield.
It has lent in Terre Haute since 1990 and ranks 9 of 220 lenders there, behind First Financial Bank and others. Its share fell 0.6 points to 3.4%. Rivals may have won business, or its lending may be spreading: it made its first loans in non-metro Kentucky and Clarksville in 2025.
