The Harrison Building and Loan Association is a small savings institution that mainly finances home purchases around Cincinnati, its only metro market.
Purchases made up 73.0% of its 37 loans in 2025, and every loan was conventional. Its typical loan was $195,000, against $245,000 at similar lenders, savings institutions making between half and twice as many loans. That is smaller than at about two in three of them.
