Back in the record
The bank first reported its home lending in 1998, but the record holds nothing for 2018 to 2024. Banks making few loans need not report (since 2020, fewer than 100 closed-end loans a year), so those years are gaps in the record, not years without lending. Similar lenders are national banks making between half and twice its number of loans; it made more than about three in ten of the 84 of them, and the typical one made 40.
