Where its loans go
In 2025, 40.8% of its loans were on homes in low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, against 17.6% at the typical similar bank (state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans). That share has hardly moved in five years. Nearly a third of its loans, 31.5%, were in majority-minority neighborhoods, against 5.8% for its peers. On both counts it is above more than four in five similar banks.
