Our analysis, 2025
SIRVA Mortgage is a home-purchase lender spread thinly across 47 states, making larger and more often conventional loans than similar non-bank lenders.
Home purchases made up 97.7% of its loans in 2025. It lent in 228 metros, yet its largest share among its main markets was 0.2%, in Nashville, where it ranked 114 of 821 lenders. It has no home market in the usual sense.
Its typical loan was $405,000, against $315,000 at similar lenders (independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans). Jumbo loans, those larger than the conforming limit, were 5.5% of its lending, a higher share than at about nine in ten of them. Only 6.1% of its loans were insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), against 22.6% at the typical peer.
Borrowers with low or moderate incomes took 3.6% of its loans, against 28.3% at similar lenders, among the lowest of the group. Its larger loans and scarce FHA lending suggest it may serve better-off buyers, which could account for most of the difference.
It made 1,219 loans, down from 2,322 in 2020. In 2025 its count fell 6% while similar lenders grew 2% and the whole market 10%. It turned down 1.6% of home-purchase applications, about half the 3.4% at similar lenders, and made no higher-priced loans, those with a rate well above the average for similar loans.
Similar lenders: same lender type, originations between half and twice the lender's in the data year. Written from the 2025 HMDA data and checked figure by figure against it.
