Rocky Mountain Mortgage Company is El Paso's second-largest lender, and most of its loans are government-backed purchase loans.
It ranked 2 of 332 lenders in El Paso in 2025, behind United Wholesale Mortgage, and its share rose 1.9 points to 6.4%. It has lent there since 1990. In Las Cruces, NM, its share went the other way, to 1.5% from 2.9%, in a market Citizens Bank of Las Cruces leads. It may have put more of its effort into El Paso, where its share grew.
Purchases were 99.1% of its loans.
