Reliable Holdings Manager, a Miami lender that first reported in 2024, grew 63% in 2025 and lends heavily in poorer and majority-minority neighborhoods.
It made 913 loans in 2025, up from 561 in its first year, a rise of 63%. Similar lenders, meaning non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans, grew 14%; it grew faster than more than four in five of them. Its loans reached 98 metros in 30 states, centered on Florida; in Miami it ranked 67 of 937 lenders.
Every loan was conventional; it made no government-backed loans. Home purchases made up 59.1% of its lending and refinances the rest. Jumbo loans (larger than the conforming limit) were 7.8% of its loans, against 1.9% at its peers, higher than more than four in five of them.
Its loans went heavily to majority-minority neighborhoods, 61.2% against 35.9% at similar lenders, and to poorer neighborhoods (low- and moderate-income, or LMI, tracts), 29.3% against 19.8%. Yet LMI borrowers took only 4.0% of its loans, against 22.5%. The two figures point different ways. Its book is entirely conventional, without the FHA loans (insured by the Federal Housing Administration) that many lower-income buyers use, which may account for some of the gap. It could also be lending to higher-income buyers in those neighborhoods.
