A lender to poorer neighborhoods
Half its loans, 50.0%, went to low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, against 18.2% at similar lenders (independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans). That is higher than almost all of them. Neighborhoods where most residents belong to minority groups took 38.7%, against 21.0%.
