Pierremont Mortgage is a small Shreveport home-purchase lender that leans on government-backed loans and grew by 32% in 2025, while similar lenders shrank.

Just 8.2% of its loans went to low- and moderate-income (LMI) neighborhoods, against 18.9% for similar lenders, and 6.5% to majority-minority neighborhoods, against 33.1%. Yet 21.0% of its borrowers had LMI incomes, more than about two-thirds of similar lenders. Its lending sits in seven Louisiana counties, so the neighborhoods there may shape these shares; with 62 loans, a few loans move them a lot.
