A sudden fall
The 82% drop was steeper than at almost every similar lender, meaning state non-member banks making between half and twice as many loans. The typical one grew 2%, and the whole market 10%. The fall came abruptly, after 179 loans in 2023 and 186 in 2024. Whether the bank pulled back from some kind of lending or changed what it reports, the figures do not say.
