Nebo Credit Union, a Springville, Utah, credit union with $145 million in assets, made four home loans in 2025, too few for its shares and rates to say much.
It made four loans in 2025, after two in 2024 and five in 2023. Similar lenders (credit unions making between half and twice as many loans) are 16 in number, and the typical one made five. With counts this small, a single loan changes every share, so none of its percentages can be read as a pattern.
The credit union first reported its home lending in 1992. It filed no report for 2018 to 2022. Those are gaps in the record rather than years without lending: since 2020 a lender making fewer than 100 closed-end loans a year need not report.
All four of its 2025 loans were conventional, with no government backing. Three were refinances and one a home purchase. That is a description of four loans, not a strategy.
It lends in two Utah metros. It ranked 241 of 319 lenders in Provo-Orem-Lehi and 360 of 363 in Salt Lake City-Murray. United Wholesale Mortgage led both markets. In each, its share rounds to nothing, which says more about the size of those markets than about the credit union.
