My Move Mortgage, a Utah home-purchase lender, grew faster than most lenders like it in 2025 and is pushing into Arkansas and Missouri.
Its loans rose 18% to 1,546, faster than seven in ten similar lenders (independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans) and the whole market's 10%. That continues a recovery from 846 loans in 2023. It is still well short of the 3,620 it made in 2020.
Purchases made up 90.4% of its loans. It ranks 14 of 363 lenders in Salt Lake City, with 1.6% of the market, and 14 of 319 in Provo, with 2.1%. Both shares held steady in 2025. Its typical rate, 6.25%, was lower than at nearly nine in ten similar lenders.
Its typical loan was $425,000, against $315,000 at similar lenders. Only 10.7% of its loans went to low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, against 19.1%, and 2.7% to majority-minority ones, against 26.6%. Larger loans and a business centered on a few Utah markets are possible reasons.
It entered Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers in Arkansas in 2024 and its share there rose in 2025. It also entered Joplin, Jonesboro and Cape Coral-Fort Myers in 2025, and now lends in 16 states.
