Jet HomeLoans, a Jacksonville lender that finances almost nothing but home purchases, raised its lending 84% in 2025 to 5,290 loans and ranked seventh around Jacksonville, its home city.
Its loans rose from 2,876 to 5,290. Similar lenders, independent non-bank lenders making between half and twice as many loans, grew 11%, and the whole market 10%. Only about one in ten peers grew faster. It first reported in 2020, with 456 loans.
Purchases made up 99.1% of its loans. Loans guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) were 22.3% of the total, against 7.4% at peers, a higher share than at almost all of them. Its typical rate, 4.99%, was lower than at almost every peer; the record does not say why.
In Jacksonville it ranked 7 of 715 lenders, with a share that rose to 2.3% from 1.8%; United Wholesale Mortgage and Rocket Mortgage led. Its share rose in Houston to 0.6% and in Austin to 0.7%. In 2025 it entered Warner Robins and Macon-Bibb County in Georgia.
Only 9.6% of its loans were in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, against 19.4% at peers, among the lowest twentieth. Its larger loans, $395,000 against $315,000 at peers, and the markets it serves are possible reasons.
